I painted this at Camp May near Pajarito ski area. It's such a nice place to get away to during the summer as it's so much cooler at the higher altitude. I've painted this stand of aspens a few times before but this is my favorite version yet! It won second place overall in the Plein Air Painter's of New Mexico Los Alamos Paint Out in 2023.
