On Thanksgiving I walked out to Meditation Point on the edge of Los Alamos (so far on the edge town it's in Santa Fe county!) I brought a full sheet of pastel paper and made a nice big plein air painting on a pleasant late fall day. This area is my favorite place to plein air paint in Los Alamos, there's great views in all directions being on a very narrow end of the mesa.
