This studio painting was inspired from my many hikes I used to go on at Pajarito ski area. For a while I was into a challenge where I hiked every single ski run, all in the space of a month or so. I think there were 50+ named runs! It's a good workout to say the least! The reference photo was taken at the top of the ski area near Compromise ski run.
